Marble Room Steak and Raw Bar is a testament to Cleveland's rich history. This notable establishment is renowned not only for its fine cuisine but also for its history spanning over a hundred years. The story begins in 1893 when the sons of President James A. Garfield, Harry Augustus Garfield and James Rudolph Garfield, commissioned the construction of the building that eventually became Marble Room.

Throughout its history, it has served various purposes: from Guardian Savings and Trust, which turned it into Guardian Building in 1914, to National City Bank, which renamed it National City Bank Building in 1921. In 1955, the bank renovated the premises, and in 1978, a new headquarters led the old branch to remain open until 2008, when PNC acquired National City Bank.

Today, after years of changes and adaptations, Marble Room Steak and Raw Bar, opened in 2017, celebrates the rich heritage of this building. Many original design elements of the bank have been restored here. Former safes, once some of the largest in the country, have been transformed into exclusive private event spaces, while former executive offices now serve as dining rooms and lounges for private events and celebrations. Today, Marble Room Steak and Raw Bar combines historic charm with modern luxury. Luxurious decor includes antique chandeliers and gilded tiles, carefully restored to emphasize the restaurant’s eclectic style.

As a premium steakhouse and raw bar, Marble Room offers exquisite dinners including steaks, seafood, sushi, and wine. The establishment also hosts wonderful events in its private dining rooms.
