Ellet Community Learning Center, formerly known as Ellet High School, is a public secondary school located in Akron. This institution is part of the Akron City School District and is one of eight middle schools in the district. In the 2012-2013 school year, the school enrolled 1,147 students, emphasizing its significance for the local community.

The first building of Ellet High School on Woolf Avenue opened in 1950, replacing the older school on Canton Road, which had been in operation since 1891 and served both elementary and middle school students. In 2019, a new building of Ellet Community Learning Center was opened on the same site, next to the old one.
The new Ellet Community Learning Center was completed in 2019, and students began attending at the start of the 2019-2020 academic year. The first graduation ceremony in the new school took place in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was held in a drive-through format. The 2020-2021 academic year started remotely but concluded in a traditional manner, including the first in-person graduation ceremony in the new building.

Sports Achievements
The official colors of Ellet are orange and white, although many teams' uniforms and varsity jackets also feature dark blue accents. The school offers a wide range of sports for both boys and girls. Boys can participate in American football, European soccer, cross country running, golf, wrestling, basketball, bowling, baseball, tennis, and track and field. Girls have the opportunity to engage in European soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, bowling, softball, tennis, golf, and track and field.
The Ellet football team competes in the Akron City Series league and is in the second division. In 2012, they won their first-ever city series title and qualified for the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) playoffs for the second time. In 2013, the team repeated this success, becoming city champions and finishing the season with a 10-0 record, their first undefeated season since 1933 (7-0).
The boys' basketball team also achieved success, winning the city series championship in 2014-2015. This was only their second title since 1995, after having reached the finals twice, losing in 2014.
Ellet Community Learning Center remains an important educational and cultural hub for the Akron community, providing students not only with knowledge but also opportunities for athletic achievement and holistic development.
