Easton Town Center – a popular shopping mall and retail complex located in the northeast of Columbus. Opened in 1999, Easton was designed to resemble a self-sufficient town, evoking nostalgia for American cities and towns of the early and mid-20th century. The center features various architectural elements that add to its unique charm.
Easton Town Center offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants, and service establishments in buildings of various sizes, most of which have adjoining walls and similar appearances. The center includes traditional shopping mall elements, such as multi-story department stores, kiosks in interior zones, a cinema, ATMs, and both indoor and outdoor parking. Over 30 million visitors come here each year.
The street system of Easton is not perfectly centralized, with zones designated for specific purposes. For example, the South District hosts concerts, festive events, has an interactive fountain, and the open-air Easton Express train. The station building contains shops, eateries, and the 30-screen AMC theater. In 2015, Easton expanded with the addition of Easton Gateway, bringing new retailers and restaurants.
The development and management of Easton Town Center are the result of a partnership between Limited Brands and Georgetown Company, with leasing and management by Steiner & Associates.
