Family business in the town of Manson suffered significant damage following an accident involving a truck and a Goga County sheriff's vehicle.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that the 29-year-old deputy sheriff was taken to the nearest hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening after the accident.
The facade of the Country Farleys store is now covered with a large yellow tarp, and debris is scattered everywhere.
Emergency services have shut down traffic on Mayfield Road at State Route 44 in Manson. They were called here shortly before 9:00 PM on Tuesday due to an accident involving two vehicles. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a sheriff's department cruiser driven by a 29-year-old man was traveling south when it was hit by a Dodge Ram heading west.
Investigators state that the deputy sheriff failed to yield the right of way, resulting in both vehicles leaving the road and crashing into the building.

The owners of the Country Farleys Store live upstairs and heard a loud bang.
Coming downstairs, they saw that the store was practically wrecked. They said that no one was seriously injured, but cleaning up the aftermath of the accident will take a long and tedious time. This happened on the eve of celebrating the 100th anniversary of this family business.
The owners shared photos and videos capturing the accident's aftermath and the significant damage caused. Vehicles were wrecked. A white pickup truck crashed directly into the store's facade. The Goga County sheriff's vehicle was pressed against it.
Investigators confirm that the second driver, a 45-year-old resident of Chardon, was not injured. The Ohio State Highway Patrol states that alcohol, drugs, or speeding were not the cause of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
