On Sunday, the Parish of St. Vladimir in Parma, Ohio, of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, solemnly celebrated its centenary. The festive service was led by Metropolitan Antony and Archbishop Daniel, which became a true spiritual uplift for the entire community.
The rector of the church, Father Mykhailo Hondaruk, together with the emeritus priest Ivan Nakochenyi, congratulated parishioners and guests gathered on this significant day. The service was adorned with the participation of clergy from neighboring parishes, as well as seminarians from the St. Sophia Seminary, which added solemnity and emphasized the unity of the community.






On the church threshold, children, the parish council, and the rector with clergy greeted the hierarchs with flowers. Metropolitan Antony delivered an inspiring sermon, emphasizing the importance of preserving the spiritual heritage left by our ancestors. He called on everyone to support and develop their work, passing on spiritual values to future generations. Many faithful received Holy Communion, reflecting the depth of faith and spiritual life of the parish. The church was filled with people, among whom especially numerous children stood out, creating an atmosphere of joy and hope for the future.







At the end of the service, Father Mykhailo expressed heartfelt thanks to all present and offered prosphora to the hierarchs as a sign of respect and love. The celebration concluded with a group photo, which became a symbol of unity and spiritual joy of the community.



After the service, in the church hall, an award ceremony was held for the most active benefactors of the church. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and familial, where everyone felt part of a large church family. This day was a testimony that the Parish of St. Vladimir not only honors its past but also confidently looks to the future, preserving and passing on spiritual values to our descendants.
