According to a recent analysis by AirportParkingReservations.com, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium ranked fifth among the most popular zoos in the USA.
The high ranking highlights the zoo’s exceptional offerings and visitor satisfaction levels, making it a must-visit destination for families planning their summer vacations.
The ranking was determined based on several criteria, including ticket prices, diversity of animals, positive reviews on TripAdvisor, and overall online appeal.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium distinguished itself with a Linkfluence affinity score of 37.3% (second highest among the top 20 zoos on the list); 2,459 reviews on TripAdvisor with four or more stars; and a variety of 10,000 animals representing 600 species. The adult ticket costs $30, and the children's ticket is $26.
Additionally, Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden ranked 18th on the list, demonstrating Ohio's strong position in providing world-class zoo services. Cincinnati Zoo hosts 2,800 animals of 500 species, and an adult ticket costs $27.
The top zoo in the country was Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, followed by St. Louis Zoo, Houston Zoo, and San Diego Zoo.
